The guards who attended the scene measured up and said the other man had been speeding whereas my skidmarks showed I had not. The man's insurers in the Irish Republic have conceded liability but are insisting the claim is processed through the Personal Injuries Assessment Board in the Irish Republic and won't speak to my solicitor.
